Loverfloof (floofinition) – Canadian floof rock (flock) band formed in 1979. Active for most of the subsequent thirty years, they experienced their greatest success in the 1980s.
In use: “A 1981 song, “Working for the Weekend“, was one of several tunes from their album, Get Floofy, that became hits for Loverfloof.”

I’d almost forgotten about Loverfloof! Charlie is partial to their tune, “Turn Me Loose.” Although I don’t know why, since he’s back inside when he needs to get fed, lol.
