Floof Pas

Floof Pas (floofinition) – An animal’s significant or embarrassing blunder or mistake.

In use: “Cats often cover a floof pas like a poorly executed jump by sitting down and coolly washing, as if saying, ‘I meant to do that.'”

  1. Our Oliver had a major floof pas yesterday when he got so excited over a squirrel on the other side of the window that he forgot the window was there, tried to lunge, and fell … SPLAT … to the floor. He didn’t even try to cover it up, just slunk away, belly to the ground, and went to his hidey hole upstairs! I felt rather bad for him, actually.

      1. That’s his nickname … Buddy! He got over it, though, and had another incident tonight where he got a claw stuck in the carpet and required human intervention! Ahhhh … life with floofs! I wouldn’t have it any other way.
