Our area air improved from Hazardous to Very Unhealthy overnight. We’re also still not actually on fire (knock on wood), and it’s expected to be cooler today, with a high of 97 degrees, and the peaches are ripe and ready to pick.

This seems to be the summer for forest fires in both Canada and the United States, as seen in Oregon and California. Not only are forests being destroyed, I worry about all the fire-fighters and residents who have to breathe the smoky air. Please take good care and I hope this will eventually pass. . . and that the air reaches a healthy level..

Thank you. I follow the wildfires not just in North America, but in Europe and Australia. Seems like a lot of world is aflame. All we can do is get through the period as safely as we can, and hope for the best for all of us. Take care as well. Cheers
