You ever encounter a parking lot with such maddening shapes, narrow lanes and tight corners that people seem unable to turn the vehicles without going up over a curb? SF-SJ Bay Area parking lots seemed home to those lots. Bad as they were in California, some of the newer shopping centers’ parking lots in Medford, Oregon (I’m pointing the finger at you, Trader Joe’s) are terrible. Yet, we must suffer and accept, or we wouldn’t have the store.
We have them in Victoria too—some of the lots are so dangerous just backing out and driving out! And not all the terrible “don’t-look-don’t check” drivers are seniors, there are an awful lot of under-seniors who are in an awful hurry. . . 😦

We’re having them right here in the Midwest, on a one-way street to boot. Due to the garage resurfacing, everyone was forced to park in the street

That is so frustrating and exasperating, and irritating, isn’t it? Even if we know it must be done, sometimes the way it’s executed makes you wonder, what drugs are they on?
