Reading about Florida setting a new record for COVID-19 cases, then a new record for deaths, then the urge to open Disney, and the demand that children return to school. Then there are many other matters churning my stomach and leaving me saying, “I can’t go for that.”
Fortunately, Hall & Oates’ song, “I Can’t Go for That (No Can Do)” (1981) covers it, making it today’s theme music.
My aunt and uncle live in Florida. It sounds like they’re being cautious and staying as safe as possible, but I’m constantly worried about them. I also have family in Arizona, PA, and NY (and friends in other states too)- arg.

I’ve lived in many places and have friends and family everywhere. It’s been my practice through the years to track their weather and local news. Now I pursue their COVID numbers as part of my daily routines. Hope you and yours all stay safe and survive this thing relatively unscathed. Cheers

Thank you–and same to you. Catching up with people has become an exercise in anxiety, unfortunately.
