It’s from toward the end of Man of Steel after Kal (Superman/Clark — it’s so hard to know what to call someone who has multiple names/aliases, y’know?) and Lois kiss, and then she says something about how ‘it’s all downhill after the first kiss,’ and he replies that he thinks that only applies to humans.
So, as taken completely out of context and applied to the situation described in the quote from Ms. O’Connor… Maybe only humans have to worry about hair loss and such due to the stress of being writers. (Weaver’s weird sense of humor strikes again…!)
