When something in his home breaks, his first step in his troubleshooting and fixing process is to turn it off. He allows it to stay off for a few minutes before turning it back on. It’s surprising how often that works.

That’s exactly my first step, too!!! Sometimes I leave it off for several days, giving it a chance to ‘rest up’ … and then try again. Unless it’s the refrigerator … if it’s the refrigerator, I call the maintenance dude right away!
