I can identify with this. Part of old age is telling and re-telling stories to any audience that is polite enough to listen. But also, being a part of that audience is a returned favor.

Yes. Some memories burn brighter and beg to be brought out and revisited. I became aware that I had a regular list. I’ve stopped myself from telling them, preferring to hear what others say. Sometimes it works but it’s easy to overlook my intentions. Cheers
