Today’s song popped into my stream as I was walking and remembering my dreams. It’s a fitting rebellion song for teenagers, husbands, wives, dejected voters…whatever.
Dredged up from 1984, here’s Twisted Sister with “We’re Not Gonna Take It”. Sing out, dance out, flex, break out.
What do you want to do with your life?
I was never into hair metal, but I always did like this song. Suitable for many occasions.

I skid along a dichotomy for hair metal. Frequently and prolonged exposure through friends has me knowing a lot of it but it’s not my fav sub-sub-genre of rock.

It was pretty impossible to avoid for a while there. I find it fun now, in a nostalgic sort of way. Some of it almost seems quaint at this point.

“I find it fun now, in a nostalgic sort of way.” That’s well-put and summarizes my position. It’s mostly about remembering that era, and the friends and activities that dominated it. The music helps take me there.
