Vancat (catfinition) – the cat(s) at the forefront of an activity or movement, typically a female.
In use: “Being more intelligent and aggressive than the others, Jade was seen as the vancat of anything feline happening in the house.”

Not to be confused with a van cat (a cat who likes to travel in a van, as opposed to a cat who prefers the sidecar of a vintage motorcycle), or a Van cat, which is a mostly white cat with color only on tail and ears.

I’ve never had a van cat nor a Van cat, just the vancat. I’ve had several of them.
