What ’bout Eddie and the Cruisers?

Well Eddie and the Cruisers were “voiced” by John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band, who are a real band. But Spinal Tap are like the Monkeys, they not only play their own instruments and sing but they ARE the characters as well.
