Y’know, a lot of people become writers in the first place because they’re not happy, and writing is a way to do something about that.

Are you sure? Just kidding. Yes, of course. I’m not a sadomasochist. I write every day because I enjoy it. When I began writing, I was a happy person but I didn’t feel fulfilled. Writing seemed like a way to do something about that. We’re not all dour and doomed. Just a little tortured. Kind of similar to cat owners.
