Tuesday’s Wandering Thoughts

My wife and I were out shopping for new sheets and pillows last weekend. She came to me with a mug and a grin.

“This is you.” She handed me the mug. “I’m buying it for you.”

She’s right. After running it through the dishwasher with a load, this is now my morning coffee cup.

Thanks, sweetheart.

  1. Hi Michael. This summer while Ron was gone dealing with the sad death of his brother and his burial, I took the time to stop drinking coffee. Until then we were drinking a full 12 cup pot and sometimes a few single cups with another machine we have thanks to Randy. So when Ron got home he also struggled to get off coffee. He finally went down to decaf to satisfy his craving. Recently he goes three days with morning juice and one day with decaf coffee. But that is because when my wonderful hubby wakes up his body is on autopilot, and his brain is not functioning for at least 20 to 30 minutes after he gets up. Sometimes more I wonder if he understands when I ask him when I wake him if he wants juice or coffee? But he is trying. My own heart rates went down after I stopped drinking coffee, but concerning is twice my watch has wakened me with alerts of too low heart rates? Coffee go or bad … I don’t know. But I would love a morning cup of hot chocolate instead of coffee. Your mileage may differ. Hugs. Scottie
