Aw yis. A lot of people romanticise writing too much and think it’s a life of staring out windows and magically producing manuscripts at the end of the day. But blue-collar work is a great way of putting the mundane, everyday life of writing. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for reading and commenting. Usually, when I’m staring out the window while writing, I’m thinking, “Should I get something to eat? I don’t know…is it too early for lunch? But I just ate. Is something wrong with me? Feels like I’m hungry all the time. I could go for a nice pastry, though. Maybe another cup of coffee. Then I’ll write. Yes, I’ll eat, and then I’ll write.” It’s the writer’s diet.
