Science fiction, fantasy, and mystery writer. Singer (sorry, no shows) & nudist (in my home). Beer, cat, cheese, coffee, pie and wine friend. Left IBM and Silicon Valley for the southern Oregon life but I miss the ocean. We're too far inland. Gotta move.

I think writers have day jobs no matter what we’re doing. We might not be making money from our writing, but it’s still our occupation, no matter what hours we do it. Cheers!

Real Jobs? like Domestic Engineering, teaching, chauffeuring, Elder and younger person care? Chef/cook, personal shopper, personal trainer, and any number of other professions that are unsung and unpaid …
Real writers write because they breathe! 🙂

I agree, Jules. When I read this bumper sticker, I laughed, because it’s a tautology. I wondered if they meant the bumper sticker to be ironic? That’s how I took it.

Like those who can’t do – teach?…
And we are all the far better for the best who do teach!
New word for me in tautology I look that up.
I found some new words when doing a prompted piece – you might enjoy this bit of fiction I gave breath to 😉

Bumper stickers can be fun – as well as some personalized license plates. Though some can get weird.
