We’re at the beach today. We rented a house in Waldport. The back fronts the ocean but has several hundred feet of sand dunes between us and the waterline.
I was sitting on the back patio, looking over the dunes, watching the distance waves when three young women trudged up the beach over our dunes. My inherent geezer kicked in. “You kids get off our dunes,” I shouted, shaking a fist.
No, not really. I just raised my glass of wine in their general direction.

Wow. Waldport is a bit of a drive from Ashland. How long will you be there? Weather is supposed to get a bit wet in the next few days.

Hi Nan. Not that great a drive, less than five hours. We stopped at Roseburg to gas up at Costco, and then jumped on 138 to Reedsport. Stopped for lunch at Florence. Left the house at 10 AM and was here by 4:30. We’ll be here until Sat. Yes, looks like rain back home in Ashland on Friday. Cheers

Hope you have a grand time. We hope to take a drive to Reedsport/Winchester Bay this weekend. Just a short jaunt to break routine. 🙂
