Be proud of your failures as long as there are not too many. A failure usually means that you at least tried.

This is true and was the greatest obstacle that I’ve seen throughout my life: people feared to fail. They feared being laughed out and mocked. They feared being exposed as unintelligent, stupid, dumb, etc. It was shocking how many times I encountered that when I mentored others, facilitated teams, and managed individuals. The constant challenges were trying to get people to stretch and risk failure. It worked with many and was very rewarding, but a few always hid in their shells.
