Don’t you love it when you’re trying to create an account, and a password is required, and you create one according to its rules but it keeps telling you the same thing again and again, “Your password must be between 8 and 10 characters and include numbers and letters.”

How about security questions like: what is your favorite color?
Red… Must have a minimum of 5 letters… Well, I guess that leaves out blue too, or pink, or gold…

Bizarro world. I read a long article (with links to several other articles about tangent subjects) on passwords and cracking the other day. The article was admirably revealing about the absurdities of these passwords and security questions.
