Oh, yes. Years ago, I had a sudden insight and wrote a line on a napkin. Weirdly, I never used that line, but it opened an entire path of new thinking. I kept the napkin, and still have it.

This is mostly how I write my blog, to be honest–I just jot down things that pop into my head without ever knowing where they’ll end up until suddenly it’s 3 am!
