Accatpaniment (catfinition) – a feline that will embellish or support an activity or another creature with its presence.
In use: Thomas expected Ashley as an accatpaniment whenever he put on his socks, used the restroom, and other activities.

On the other hand, cats do not like being accompanied for some activities even though they accatpaniment, or so I have noticed.
