My laptop computer informed me of its battery status.
Battery fully charged 100% Fully smart charged
I thought, WTF? Isn’t that just three ways of saying the same thing?
The Neurons pursued that a little. I suppose someone somewhere, reading that their battery was fully charged might wonder, “Does that mean 100%?” And another might wonder, but if it’s fully charged and 100%, is it also fully ‘smart’ charged.
Admittedly, I don’t even know what ‘smart charged’ is. Probably means something to someone, but not me. 100% charged is good enough for my math.
“Fully smart charged” means your device is plugged in but has stopped charging to protect the battery’s long-term health, even if it isn’t at 100%. This feature automatically limits the charge to a lower level, typically around 80%, when it detects the device is plugged in for long periods.

Yes, I actually knew that. LOL. Just a term that amuses me. ‘Smart’ as a term has become like ‘superstar’, ‘great’, and ‘turbo’, just overused, IMO. Thanks for the comment. Cheers
