Hi. Michael. I have never understood this war of, fear of, or disagreement over pronouns. I like you were in the military. I have been shot at. The people doing so did not care about my pronouns or the ones of those I was trying hard to get out of enemy territory. I am lucky, I was a young enlisted who had my boyfriend E-7 beside me who told me what to do and how to protect the people in the van I was driving. I and him are the people the new head of the DOD wants to remove in the name of his god. Again the people shooting at us did not care about my pronouns, the VIPs in the van I was driving did not care about my pronouns nor that I was dating / having sex with the man in the seat giving me directions, they just kept their heads down and let me drive. My 1st LT at the Berlin unit that was shunned by the male officers because she was a woman did not ask my pronouns as she hung out with me and a few select friends who all realized the risk she was taking to have a social outlet. She did not judge me knowing I was gay and had a room with my boyfriend. We had fun times in that German city because in those times the males in charge did not accept her a woman as worthy to socialize with. She and us did not care about the pronouns or sexual orientations. I have been in my working life before my body gave out, in the US Navy, the US Army, a nuclear armed security officer, a sheriff’s deputy, and a private investigator. In all those jobs pronouns never hurt me or threatened me in any way.

Ok thank you for letting me rant. I just get so frustrated over the made up controversy. The sports organizations found 10 trans people in the US in adult sports programs. In the country there were only 4 kids in younger sports programs. Yet this is what many republicans state and federal congresses spend their time on. How is this helping the country improve other than in their view a forced becoming ever more under the doctrines of the most extreme Christian views or the fact or president lacks the ability to understand this is not the society of his prime as he is 70 plus years old.
