Thursday’s Wandering Thought

I’m visiting Mom, and staying at her house. I used her washer and dryer to wash my clothes this morning, informing her after the fact.

She looked at me. “You washed your clothes?”

“Yes, Mom.” I mean, wasn’t that what I just said?

Then Mom, born in 1935, just out of the hospital, asks me, her almost 68-year-old son, “Why didn’t you tell me? I could have done it for you.”

I guess as her child and only son of five children, she will always want to take care of me.

  1. Hi Michael. Yes no matter how old the mother, the ones they gave birth to or raised will always be the child needing their care, wisdom, and supervision. Always ask mom you bad boy, what will she say to her social circle if they find out you did your own laundry? 😜😢😂🤣😁🤦‍♂️ Hugs.
