Furtime (slang) (Catfinition): that moment when a cat has had enough, and is prepared to make the fur fly and fight another cat. Such fights often involves high yowling and hissing, along with lots of displays of teeth, arched backs, and fat tails.
M.F.W.I.C. (Updated)
M.F.W.I.C., aka MFWIC: (Catfinition) – Mother floof what’s in charge, a reference to the household queen who organizes the other pets, and enforces order and structure in the floofhold.
In use: “She wasn’t big nor vocal, but she was the MFWIC, and touching any of her charges – the other household pets – meant you had to first pass her scrutiny, no exceptions.”
Scratchnature
Scratchnature (Catfinition): Like a signature, a feline’s style of scratching at a surface, such as a door, to draw attention and be let in or out, is unique, and announces their identity to those who know them.

Finally a cartoon character willing to tell one of my jokes without wearing a disguise. That takes some balls, especially since the little guy was neutered!
Gingersaurus Mew
Gingersaurus Mew (Catfinition): A very large ginger cat.
In Use: At twenty-two and nineteen pounds respectively, Pogo (left), and his little buddy, Scheckter, were considered gingersaurus mews.
Sniff, Lick & Cover
Sniff, Lick & Cover (Catfinition): Prescribed etiquette for a finicky sophisticat’s evaluation and dismissal of food. One, approach the food, stopping two to three inches away. Two, stretch neck out, and deeply and suspiciously sniff the food. Three, step forward and give the food one lick. Four, turn around and mime covering the food as though feces is being buried.
Sniff, lick & cover is appropriate for all foods, regardless of price, source, or past enjoyment of the food.
Food Prance
Food Prance (Catfinition): A feline’s jaunty movement, with its tail up, as it accompanies you when you’re about to feed it.
