When Art Modell moved the Cleveland Browns to Baltimore (and changed their name to the Ravens), there were similar sentiments expressed. I remember getting one that said, “Muck Art Fodell” for one of my brothers-in-law, who was an ardent Browns fan. Eventually, the Browns were allowed to re-form in Cleveland, but every game against the Ravens the first couple years was a big deal to win. ~Nan

Yes, it was a huge issue, and now, the owners of the Browns want to build a new stadium in Brookpark (one of the suburbs of Cleveland, but not in Cleveland proper) and the Modell Bill, which was passed after the debacle, may prevent them from doing so. Whether it happens or not, Browns fans are not happy. Nan
