Dusk sings down the solar heat
Breezes rise
Forelegs and paws are stretched
Claws extended
Backs arch
And mouths yawn
Eyes turn toward the door
Tails raise
Movements quickening
They sing a purr of joy and anticipation
And gather for The Feeding
Science fiction, fantasy, mystery and what-not

And gather for The Feeding
Send them over to my place. That squirrel just had another litter.

Sorry, but my cats wouldn’t help. The beasts admire nature, enjoying it in peace, only battling and chasing one another, and the occasional spider.
