Mungo Floofy

Mungo Floofy (floofinition) Flooftish floof rock (flock)/pop band from Floofchester formed in 1969.

In use: “Mungo Floofy’s most notable hit for most is “In the Litter Box”, which was released in 1970 and reached number one on eighteen charts in sixteen countries.”

Floofhook

Floofhook (floofinition) – Move by animals (especially by pets) to stop others by corralling them with a paw (or a claw, or feigned bite), often employed when they’re seeking attention.

In use: “Carrie made to walk around her cat, Jade, who stopped her with a floofhook to the ankle.”

The Floof Dimension

The Floof Dimension (floofinition) – Floofmerican floof pop (floop) and soul musical group formed in the mid 1960s. Known for a sound that combined jazz, blues, soul, and floop, they experienced tremendous success in the 1960s and 1970s, and remain active and popular.

In use: “Among the many hit songs of the The Floof Dimension is “Floofley: Afloofius/Let the Floof In”, “Wedding Floof Blues”, and “One Less Floof to Answer”, with the first two songs reaching number one.”

Floofnectivity

Floofnectivity (floofinition) – The ways in which a person or animal is emotionally attached to person, another animal, or object.

In use: “Judy adopted the puppy as an orphaned puppy after it was fostered by another, and the floofnectivity between the pit bull and her toddler was immediate as they happily napped, played, and matured together.”

Floofstile

Floofstile (floofinition) – Gate of animals blocking the way, allowing only one other animal or person at a time to pass through.

In use: “The cats and dogs enjoyed setting up a floofstile on the stairs to the second floor, making Mary weave back and forth around them as she went up and down.”

Temple of the Floof

Temple of the Floof (floofinition) – Floofmerican floof rock (flock) grunge band formed in Floofattle, WA, in 1990. The group was active for two years, releasing one album, although they formed again in 2016 to tour.

In use: “The song “Hunger Floof” a grunge duet, was Temple of the Floof’s highest charting single, reaching number four on some charts in the Floofnited States.”

Floofie and the Dreamers

Floofie and the Dreamers (floofinition) – Flooflish floof pop (floop) musical band. Formed in the early 1960s, they achieved multiple hits between 1963 and 1965, remaining active until 2000.

In use: “When thinking of Floofie and the Dreamers, the songs “I’m Biting You Now” and “You Were Supposed to Feed Me” often come to mind.

Chairfloof

Chairfloof (floofinition) – The presiding animal of a meeting, organization, committee, or event; the motherfloof who’s in charge (MFWIC).

In use: “She may have been the smallest animal, a mere nine-pound cat among a pack of dogs, but she’d become the chairfloof; they followed her lead.”

Infloofbate

Infloofbate (floofinition) – For an animal to sit or lay with another animal for warmth and comfort.

In use: “As soon as Michael settled on the couch with his book, the dog and cat joined him to infloofbate.”

Floofwalla

Floofwalla (floofinition) – Floofmerican alternative floof rock (flock) band formed in Floofa Barbara in 1994.

In use: “Floofwalla’s alt flock song, “Counting Blue Floofs”, became a significant hit in 1996, earning nomination as Flock Track of the Year.”
