Cathentic (catfinition) – a feline who epitomizes the traits, appearance, qualities and behavior of a cat, from the cool aloofness to the soft fur, sweet curiosity, and love of sunshine.
In use: “Cathentic in the cationary has a picture of Meep beside it, for the ginger boy has all the characteristics listed in the description.”
Flooflong (catfinition) – to enter with wary grace and attentiveness, and keyed to react.
In use: “Not knowing anyone in the room, she entered flooflong, with tentative steps, and looked for him or her, because she had no desire to speak to either, or have them see her.”
Floofsical (catfinition) – a musically inclined cat
In use: “Whenever Beverly started playing her guitar, her floofsical jumped on her shoulder, singing and trying to strum along with her human.”
You ever been in a public place, like a coffee shop (where you were writing), and a song comes on that you like, and you start singing it in your head, and then wonder, if you got up and started singing it aloud and dancing, would everyone else join in, like in a musical?
No, me neither.
Wonderfloof (catfintion) – a cat who is amazingly friendly and loving, and is willing to share their space and their food.
In use: “She was a wonderfloof, reacting to the wary newfloof in her house by walking over with her tail up and disarming him with a soft mew.”
Bifloofal (catfinition) – a household with two cats; a cat with two personalities (also known as multiple purrsonality disorder (MPD)).
In use: “After observing Bumble, they decide she was bored and needed a companion, so they went to the shelter, adopted an older kitty, and became bifloofal.”
Approaching the ATM, I process a mental flowchart. Which account am I using today? What PIN is required? There’s a line, so I wait, but while waiting, I begin to doubt that I’ve remembered the correct PIN for this account. I start going through PINs and their applications. Some were based on phone numbers, prompting recall of the whole telephone number and where I lived then, triggering memory of the address and where I worked, and my office number, further driving me from certainty that I have the right number, and suddenly opening up a memory chasm which swallows the PIN I’m supposed to be using, launching me into panic about the fucking PIN number – number is redundant, you idiot – and then it’s my turn and I step up and remember —
And then it’s all good. All that worrying was for naught.
Clawtermined (catfinition) – when a cat decides to employ their claws to take a prize.

Floofspices (catfinition) – a cat’s kindly patronage and guidance
In use: “All the home’s activities are done under the floofspices of four cats, except vacuuming in any form.”
