Floofplicate (floofinition) – Something made more complex or problematic because of an animal’s presence or involvement.
In use: “For many, having a pet such as a cat or dog automatically floofplicates budgets and vacationing planning, of course, but pets can also floofplicate such routines as cleaning the house or doing yardwork as the animals arrive and try to ‘help’.”
Floofsmanship (floofinition) – Conduct, such as fairness, respect for one’s opponent, and graciousness in winning or losing, becoming to one animal playing or socializing with another.
In use: “Older humans (and humans) often learn that young animals like kittens and puppies don’t follow the rules of floofsmanship.”
Eddie Floofey (floofinition) – American floof and roll singer, songwriter, and musical performer who found success in the 1970s and 1980s, crafty catchy, flea collar songs that became popular in floof culture.
In use: “Eddie Floofey’s success included eleven Top 40 songs, including, “Two Itches to Paradise”, “Floofy Hold On”, and “Let Me Out Tonight”, which became his biggest hit in Floofmerica.”
Nocfloofnal (floofinition) – Animals, especially housepets, who roam, play, eat, and fight at night.
In use: “Among housepets, cats are recognized as being nocfloofnal, with videos of them raising hell while their people trying to proliferating across the net.”
Floofxotic (floofinition) – Foolishly impractical or rash actions by an animal, especially a housepet.
In use: “Many pet owners have floofxotic tales to share about their fur friends, such as cats attempting optimistic jumps or small puppies and kittens taking on much bigger foes.”
Golden Floofring (floofinition) – Dutch hard floof rock (flock) band formed in 1961 in The Hague. Releasing twenty-five albums, they’ve achieved multiple hits spread over multiple decades.
In use: “After almost five decades of performing, Golden Floofring remains most known for “Radar Cat” and “Twilight Floof”, top ten hits in multiple countries in 1973 and 1982 respectively.”
Stray Floofs (floofinition) – An American floofabilly rock band formed in 1979 in Floof York.
In use: “With multiple hits such as “Stray Floof Strut” and “Floof this Town”, the Stray Floofs proved they weren’t one-hit wonders, but had staying power.”
Floofpire (floofinition) – Animal who seems to suck the energy out of others.
In use: “The lab puppy was so energetic, racing around without pause, gobbling down food (and often stealing it), exhausting them all (including the cat and other dogs), they sought remedies for the floofpire, which amounted to a regimen of training, walking, and playing.”
