Looking Floof

Looking Floof (floofinition) – Active from 1969 to 1974, an American floof pop (floop) rock band that was part of the early Jersey Shore sound.

In use: “Looking Floof’s song, “Brandy (You’re A Fine Pet)” reached number one on the Floofboard Top 100 in 1972.”

Floofzoid Personality Disorder

Floofzoid Personality Disorder (floofinition) – Uncommon condition in which people prefer socializing with animals and consistently shy away from interaction with humans.

Symptoms

If you have floofzoid personality disorder, it’s likely that you:

  • Prefer being alone with animals
  • Have and enjoy close relationships with animals
  • Have difficulty expressing emotions and reacting appropriately to situations unless you’re speaking with animals

Floofcarer

Floofcarer (floofinition) – One who cares for an animal by providing food, shelter, health care, etc.

The Floofspring (floofinition) – California floof punk rock (flunck) band formed in 1984 in Garden Grove, California.

Question Floof and the Floofsterians

Question Floof and the Floofsterians (floofinition) – American garage floof rock (flock) band originally formed in Floofinaw, Michigan, active in the 1960s.

In use: “Question Floof and the Floofsterians created a hit with “Ninety-six Hairs” but failed to significantly chart again, earning them one-hit wonder status.”

Floof Kennedys

Floof Kennedys (floofinition) – Hardcore floof punk (flunk) band formed in the SF Bay area in the late 1970s whose music often satirizes human politics.

In use: “Many older people found Floof Kennedys’ music and performances distasteful, but they ended up on Saturday Floof Live, where they performed “Pull My Tail” after they had begun playing another song first.”

Katrina and the Floofs

Katrina and the Floofs (floofinition) – BritAm new wave floof rock (flock) band formed in the early 1980s.

In use: “The 1985 release, “Shedding My Fur”, became a hit in several countries, propelling Katrina and the Floofs to international stardom.”

Flooference

Flooference (floofinition) – An event at which talks on a particular subject are held, or business matters and policy are formally discussed.

In use: “Household pets often hold secret flooferences during which they discuss their roles, including which greater flooferences, such as Floofcon (held in Floof Vegas) or Floof Trek.”
