If you have a cat, does it ever come up to you and give you a casual sniff, and then suddenly becomes alert, avidly and intently sniffing you for a minute before drawing back and giving you a look that asks, “What have you been doing?”
Yeah, disconcerting, innit?
Incataneous (catfinition) – a feline’s amazing ability to suddenly appear.
In use: “He’d been calling and looking for the cat for over four hours, when, incataneously, the cat rubbed against his calf.”
Today’s music is feline inspired. I swear I could hear my cat singing this when I went through my morning rituals. As I went from room to room and activity to activity, he tagged along. Sometimes he would lean against my leg when I stopped, but he also sat on my foot, or stopped and peeked around the corner. When I moved, he moved, following me around.

Mewsing (catfinition) – a meowing noise a cat makes to make others wonder what the cat is thinking; people’s pondering about why a cat is meowing.
You ever have a morning where it feels like you’ve been herding cats, and the cats just don’t want to be herded?
Yeah. More coffee, please.
Isofloofer (catfinition) – a person who lives alone with a cat.
Exfloofberant (catfinition) – a joyously unrestrained and enthusiastic cat; people and other creatures who are joyously unrestrained and enthusiastic about cats.
Flooftacular (catfinition) – a cat that’s beautiful or striking in a dramatic way; a cat who amazes others with their behavior and activities; a large event that’s centered around cats.
Floofpossible (catfinition) – something that would seem to be impossible, that a cat manages to do.
Catridictory (catfinition) – someone who begs and pleads for something from you and then walk away without touching it are said to be catradictory.
In use: “Meowing, purring, and tapping his leg as she rubbed against his calves, the cat seemed to want food, but the catridictory feline sniffed the food bowl once after he set it down, and silently walked away.”
