Once again, there’s a Trump tweet out there that calls attention to his thin skin and deep ignorance.

Whether this sort of tweet is a childish impulse caused by a general lack of maturity, his narcissism, aging, or dementia, what he shows is a lack of understanding about individuals and their rights to make political statements. It’s about the Bill of Rights and freedom of speech. Yes, we know from previous words and actions, Trumps shows little knowledge of how those pieces fit together. Of course, if Springsteen had expressed love and admiration for Trump, Trump would have instantly responded about how GREAT SPRINGSTEEN IS, WHAT A GREAT AMERICAN!!! That’s the Trump. Regardless, it again shows he’s unfit for office.

stuff like this makes me shrivel inside. How do we endure this man on the planet??? Senility is hard enough on families, but to have to watch it unfold in such a public way…

I agree there’s senility involved, but I also think it’s insecurity. Inwardly, he is so afraid of people seeing him for what he really is … a little boy that could never do right in his father’s eyes.

he has a full blown case of Alzheimer’s. My mother went through that, as did a neighbor. They were always screwing things up and then pretending someone else did it and they had to fix it. Or taking credit for something someone else did, and blaming another person for making them break the vase or scare the sheep.
And yes, insecurity, a walloping inferiority complex that you’re born with. Don’t need no help with that, nope. He uses his money to bolster his ego, but once the Alzheimer’s takes root they become dangerous.
Ive seen my mother take credit for something I remember my dad did, and the best route around that is to ignore it.
Money can’t fix it, and money has little to do with it. It just makes it more noticeable.

I’ll have to take your word for it. Fortunately, I’ve never been directly exposed to someone with Alzheimer’s. But I do think his childhood plays a role as well in some of his actions based on what has been written about him.
In any case … He. Needs. To. Be. Removed!

You said that so well. This is what experience of him in public, but what’s going on in those meetings? Scary.

Alzheimer’s is the final stage, Narcissism is the root. Narcs place blame the way brick layers build walls, one brick at a time.
By the time I was 16 I had learned to be like the boy in the bubble, there, but not reacting. “You don’t love me…” she’d hiss. “You never loved me…” I found that anything of mine that I showed a great deal of interest in would one day be magically ‘not there” or had been given to a “poor little girl” which I realized was actually the town dump. I loved the pump organ, she threw it away. I would come home to find the jigsaw puzzles I was working on were gone, paper dolls thrown in the trash.
It was years before I realized she was trying to throw ME away. Thanks, ma. Narcisissm is the first step. Alzheimers is the next. That’s when the made up stories (a la Trump and his ranting) begin to slide off the table, along with the remaining brain cells.
Once you’ve seen it, you can’t unsee it. Trump is a very insecure fella. Money doesn’t cure that, but it does hide it. He’s at the stage now where what he is, is dangerous to a lot of people.
