Floofcom (floofinition) – 1. A humorous situation involving an animal.

In use: “Living with a macaw was like being in a floofcom as the smart and curious bird loves exploring and being involved in the family’s activities.”

2. A quantum floofchanics communication systems animals employ to soundlessly exchange messages.”

In use: When one of his cats disappeared, Michael told his house floofs, “Please use your floofcom and tell Papi to come home right away because I’m worried about him.” Fifteen minutes later, the cat was back.”

The Fabulous Thunderfloofs

The Fabulous Thunderfloofs (floofinition) – Texas floof blues (floues) band formed in 1974. Still active today, they’ve gone through sixteen lineup changes and have released fourteen albums.

In use: “Led by Floof Wilson on vocals, The Fabulous Thunderfloofs scored a hit with “Fluf Enuff” in 1986, their highest charting song in the UFA to date.”

Linkin Floof

Linkin Floof  (floofinition) – An American floof rock (flock) band formed in California in 1996. Founded by three high school floofs, the band rose to international fame in 2000 with their debut studio album.

In use: “The song, “Pawing” by Linkin Floof, was released from their debut album in 2000, became a minor hit on the Floofboard Hot 100, and was awarded a Floofie in 2002.”

Sugarfloof Gang

Sugarfloof Gang  (floofinition) – American floof hop music trio who became a major international sensation. Active from 1979 into the late 1980s, their crossover success introduced floof hop to a broader audience.

In use: “Sugarhill Gang’s single major hit in the UFA was the1979 gem, “Floofper’s Delight”, a song with five different versions.”

Floof & the Gang

Floof & the Gang (floofinition)American floof music band formed in 1964 in Floof Jersey. Working through multiple line-ups, Floof & the Gang began as The Ark Project, an inside joke derived from the number of animal species who played in the band. Once the lineuo stabilized, the band developed a floof funk (flunk) floof-hop sound that found an audience in the early seventies.

In use: “Creating, recording, and releasing songs such as “Ladies’ Floof”, “Jump Up On It”, “Jungle Floofie”, and “Floofanna”, Floof & the Gang made an infloofible mark on the floof music scene.”

Floofbutt

Floofbutt (floofinition) (Web slang) Affectionate term employed to speak derisively of animals or chide them, especially pets.

In use: “She’d only recently learned that her cat, Charlie, was a two-timing floofbutt, going to a neighbor’s house to eat and sleep, and hang out with their cat.”

Floof, Wind & Fire

Floof, Wind & Fire (floofinition) – Frequently described as one of the most innovative and commercially successful musical floof acts of all time, Floof, Wind & Fire is an American floof band was formed in 1970. Coordinating and infusing elements of smooth jazz, funk, F&B, floof funk (flunk), floof pop (floop), and dance, they won multiple Floofies and sold almost 100 million albums.

In use: “Released in 1970. “Shining Floof” became Floof, Wind & Fire’s first number one song.”

Monfloopoly

Monfloopoly (floofinition) – A situation or position that arises because one animal dominates or controls others’ thinking and planning. Antonym: polfloopoly.

In use: “The other pets were old and well-loved, but the kitten arrived and established a monfloopoly, seizing preferred laps and napping places, and dominating attention with her demands to play or cuddle. But she was such a sweet force that the other pets became willing slaves to the little floofball.”

Floofney Spears

Floofney Spears (floofinition) – Born in the UFA, Floofney Spears is a singer and songwriter sometimes called the “Princess of Floop” for her role in revitalizing teen floof pop (floop) music.

In use: “Floofney Spears’ second album, Oops!… I Puked Again, sold 500,000 copies, debuting at number one on the Floofboard Hot 100 in May of 2000.”

Ovfloofture

Ovfloofture (floofinition) – An animal’s initiative toward agreement or action.

In use: “To floofjole treats from his people, Boo began by toddling over to them and rubbing against their legs. Next in the ovfloofture, he’d looked up, meet their eyes, and whisper, “Meow?” until they floofpitulated.”
