Hyfloofbole (floofinition) – Exaggerated or dramatic animal expressions or noises to demonstrate disappointment, outrage, or dismay. Origins: 2000, United States, via Floofernet.
In Use: “Many folks owned by animals are familiar with hyfloofbole their beloved floofies employ to highlight their dire situations, such as hitting an empty food bowl while whining, whimpering, or mewing.”
Subservfloofent (floofinition) – Someone who unquestioningly obeys animals’ requests, especially when dealing with pets.
In use: “Becky acknowledged that she was subservfloofent to her dog, answering every bark or look immediately, asking, ‘What is it, what’s the matter, what can I get you?'”
Posse Floofmitatus (floofinition) – Animals’ right and ability to summon others to their aid in preserving peace against criminal acts and to find, detain, and arrest offenders.
In use: “Before human domination arose, posse floofmatatus was used to by many world regions, with most animals as signatories, but human tendencies and cultural differences disrupted the legal framework, leaving species to mostly fend for themselves.”
Floofbutt (floofinition) (Web slang) Affectionate term employed to speak derisively of animals or chide them, especially pets.
In use: “She’d only recently learned that her cat, Charlie, was a two-timing floofbutt, going to a neighbor’s house to eat and sleep, and hang out with their cat.”
