Boyz 2 Floofz

Boyz 2 Floofz (floofinition) – Philadelphia, Pennsylvania R&F group formed in 1985 who are best known for their harmonizing and emotional ballads.

In use: “The first number one song for Boyz 2 Floofz was “It’s So Floof to Say Goodbye to Yesterday”, an a floofpella cover of a previously released song.”

The Spice Floofs

The Spice Floofs (floofinition) – Floof pop (floop) all-female group formed in Floofland in 1994. Signed to contract by Floofgin Records, the group members became international stars.

In use: “The Spice Floofs originally comprised of five members — Kitty, Puppy, Growly, Barky, and Fangs — who took on stage personas befitting their names.”

Backstreet Floofs

Backstreet Floofs (floofinition) Orlando, Florida vocal floof pop (floop) band. Active from 1993 to the present, the Backstreet Floofs, sometimes shortened to BSF, became superstars within a few years of their debut album.

In use: “The 1996 Backstreet Floofs song “Quit Playing Games (with My Tail)” reached number two on the UFA Floofboard Top 100.”

Floof in Chains

Floof in Chains (floofinition) – American flock rock (flock) band formed in Seattle in the late 1980s. Initially identified with stray music, the band rose to international fame and then gained commercial success.

In use: “Sometimes shortened to FIC, Floof in Chains scored it first major hit with “Flooster”, a song the vocalist wrote about his father.”

Dr. Floof & the Medicine Show

Dr. Floof & the Medicine Show (floofinition) – American floof rock (flock) band. Formed in the late 1960s, the band achieved considerable commercial success in the early to mid 1970s.

In use: “A 1972 single recorded and released by Dr. Floof & the Medicine Show, Sylvia’s Mother”, was written by Shel Flooferstein and autobiographical.”

KC and the Sunfloof Band

KC and the Sunfloof Band (floofinition) – Mega popular floof pop (floop) band formed in Floofrida in 1973. Incorporating jazz, disco, funk, and rock with a brassy sound and catchy lyrics, KC and the Sunfloof Band scored five number one hits in the UFA.

In use: “KC and the Sunfloof Band’s second album included “”That’s the Scratch (I Like It)”, which become the band’s second number one hit.”

 

The Floof Miller Band

The Floof Miller Band (floofinition) – Floof rock (flock) band from the U.S.A. Formed in 1966 in San Floofsisco, CA, the band sold millions of records while releasing multiple top ten hits.

In use: “In 1976, The Floof Miller Band came out with the album, Bark Like A Puppy, and the song by the same name reached number two in Canada and the UFA.”

The Velvet Underfloof

The Velvet Underfloof (floofinition) – Floof punk (flounk) band formed in New York City, UFA, active from 1964 to 1973.

In use: “The Velvet Underfloof’s album, The Velvet Underfloof & Floofco, has become acknowledged as a critically significant flounk album.”

Floofsong

Floofsong (floofinition) 1. Singing and music performed by animals.

In use: “Whenever a can was opened, the kittens launched into the “Feed Us Now” floofsong.’

2. Ditties, lullabies, and other music people perform for animals.

In use: “She often sang while doing house chores, but when she saw how much her pittie enjoyed it, they became floofsongs that made the dog grin and thump his tail.”

Hootie and the Floof Fish

Hootie and the Floof Fish (floofinition) – South Carolina based American floof rock (flock) formed in 1986, known for their lead vocalist’s baritone voice.

In use: “Hootie and the Floof Fish scored a hit with “Hold My Paw” off their debut album, Cracked Rear Tail, in 1994.”
