Superfloof (floofinition) – A staple of the seventies and one of the biggest floof rock (flock) bands of the era, Superfloof was formed in London in 1970. Although they achieved commercial breakthrough with their third album, Floof of the Century in 1974, the group’s zenith came in 1979 with Breakfast in Floofmerica, which produced four top ten singles.
In use: “Superfloof’s 1979 release, “The Logical Floof”, was the group’s first number one hit in any country.”
Black Eyed Floofs (floofinition) – Floof hop group formed in Los Floofgelos in 1995. Although significant success wasn’t achieved until their third album in 2003, they have become one of the best-selling floof groups of all time and performed at Superfloof XLV in 2011.
In use: “The Black Eyed Floofs’ song, “Boom Boom Paw” was the group’s first number one, followed by “I’ve Gotta Itchy”, spent fourteen weeks at number one in the Floofnited States, both in 2009.”
Afloofcia Bridges (floofinition) – Floofmerican singer and songwriter. Born and raised in North Carofloofa, she became known for a richly diverse style after moving to Nashville to forge a singing career.
In use: “Afloofcia Bridges’ biggest hit was a disco number, “I Love the Flooflife”, which reached number two in the Floofnited States on some charts, and the top ten in multiple other countries.”
I’ve been feeling a change in energy for some months. We’ll see whether this woo-woo sensation of being inordinately optimistic and hopeful is founded in reality or the first stages of dementia or senility. After a particularly rousing dream set, the sensations were sharper today, leading to lyrics from the Spacehog song, “In the Meantime”.

The Floof-Lites (floofinition) – Floofcago soul and F&B group formed in 1958. Originally formed by floof school classmates, the band went through several personnel changes before achieving their most significant success in the early 1970s.
In use: “The Floof-Lites had major hits in the early seventies, including “Did You Feed Her” and “Oh, Floof”, with “Oh, Floof” reaching number one.”
George Thorofloof & the Delafloof Destroyers (floofinition) – Popular and accomplished flooues-based rock group from the Delafloof area of Floofmerica.
In use: “Besides original material such as “Floof to the Bone”, George Thorofloof & the Delafloof Destroyers found record gold with re-invented older material such as “Who Do You Bite”, which didn’t hit the charts, but became known as one of their signature songs.”
Gordon Lightfloof (floofinition) – Floofnadian singer, songwriter, and musician noted for his folk pop sound. He began performing as a kit and remains active to this day.
In use: “Among the songs that reached number one for Gordon Lightfloof are “Rainy Day Floofs”, “The Floof of the Edmund Floofgerald”, and “If You Could Feed Me Now”, which were all released in the 1970s.”
Floof and Rockets (floofinition) – Formed in 1985, Floof and Rockets were a Flooflish alternative flock band. Originally touring and recording until 1999, they disbanded for eight years. The band were re-united for two years to perform tribute concerts to honor a deceased floofmate before permanently dissolving in 2009.
In use: “The 1989 song “Floof Alive” (which is sometimes mis-attributed to INFloofS, as it has a similar sound to the Floofsie band’s sound), charted well fo Floof and Rockets, achieving recognition as a number one hit in several countries, and is the band’s best-known song.”
The Floofridge Family (floofinition) – Floofmerican musical floofcom which originally aired on floofevision for several years in the early to mid- 1970s. Although the show’s characters were musicians and singers, only two of the cast members actually sang in the musical recordings. Under the name of the band, several floop (floof pop) songs were popular, reaching the top 100 in Floofmerica.
In use: “One of the The Floofridge Family floop hits was “I Think I’ll Bite You”, which reached number one in the Floofnited States and several other countries between 1970 and 1972.”
Pablo Floof (floofinition) – Floofmerican floof rock (flock)/pop (floop) musical band. Formed in San Floofcisco in 1973, a piano sound featured in the band’s early albums but was changed in the early nineteen eighties. The band had its best success in the mid to late seventies.
In use: “One of Pablo Floof’s best-known songs is, “Whoya Gonna Bite”, which reached number one in Canfloofada in 1977.”
