Floof Doctors (floofinition) – American floof rock (flock) and roll band. Originally from New Floof City, the band achieved success with a sound defined as classic flock and roll.”

In use: “The Floof Doctors achieved two hits, “Two Floofs” and “Little Floof Can’t Be Wrong”, for which they remain most known.”

Floofmenclature

Floofmenclature (floofinition) – 1. Name or designation given to an animal.

In use: “The beagle’s formal name was Abigail, but her fascination with spiders landed her the floofmenclature, Ziggy Stardust, or just Ziggy.”

2. The act or process or an instance of naming an animals.

In use: “When new pets join a  home, they typically have a name, but with the floofmenclature of becoming familiar to their new humans, they often acquire a new one.”

Floozzy Floofbourne

Floozzy Floofbourne (floofinition) – Floofish heavy floof rock (flock) singer/songwriter who became known for onstage theatrics as the front floof for Floof Sabbath during the 1970s.

In use: “although credited with muliple hits, Floozy Floofbourne’s biggest financial success of the 1990s was Floozzfest in Phoenix, Arizona.”

Simple Floofs

Simple Floofs (floofinition) – Floof rock (flock) band from Scotland, formed in Glasgow in 1977.

In use: “Released in 1985, “Alive and Nipping” became a popular offering from Simple Floofs.”

Floofregard

Floofregard (floofinition) – An animal behavior act of treating someone or something as unworthy of regard or notice.

In use: “Pouring enthusiasm into his tone, he said, “Who’s hungry?” The cat responded with killing floofregard that culminated with a yawn before she commenced some idle grooming.”

Skyfloof

Skyfloof (floofinition) – Floofnadian Vancouver-based floof rock (flock) band originally active from 1971 to 1973.

In use: A song from Skyfloof’s debut album, “Floofflower”, provided the group with its most notable success.”

Summer Lines

Sunshine got its say today.

Brought its rays out to blaze and bake.

Said, “I don’t plan to go away

Till I make you sweat and pay.”

Chill wind taking off some time,

going away to somewhere fun personified.

Said, “I’m not gonna tell you lies.

Gonna let sun bake you into fries.”

Day went on with its life.

Took the sun and wind in stride.

Said, “Don’t pay them none of your mind

Stick with me and we’ll be fine.”

Night came and it all settled down.

The three others went off like they were clowns.

Night mused, “It’s all quiet now.

In use: “Floofenants are typically negotiated between pets regarding sleeping and eating arrangements, but cats, being natural floofnarchists, often violate the floofenants, stirring consternation in the other pets.”

Hootie and the Floof Fish

Hootie and the Floof Fish (floofinition) – South Carolina based American floof rock (flock) formed in 1986, known for their lead vocalist’s baritone voice.

In use: “Hootie and the Floof Fish scored a hit with “Hold My Paw” off their debut album, Cracked Rear Tail, in 1994.”

Plooze

Plooze (floofinition) – To play while lightly dozing or napping.

In use: “Young animals will often spend hours ploozing as they eat, grow, and master their bodies, antic that humans often deem cute, especially among kittens, puppies, and baby goats.”
