Floofpidity

Floofpidity (floofinition)  1. The quality of making unintelligent decisions or acts regarding animals. Origins: Worldwideweb, 1999.

In Use: “Realizing he’d forgotten his drink, Brett set his plate of sandwiches down on the coffee table in an act of supreme floofpidity, and rushed back to the kitchen, creating an opportunity for the Puppy to gobble up Brett’s lunch.”

2. A dumb idea or decision by an animal.

In Use: “Demonstrating grade A floofpidity, a dog attacked a child, only to be counter attacked and chased off by Tara the cat.”

Flooflemma

Flooflemma (floofinition) – A usually unpleasant choice faced by an animal. Origins: First known use in 1523 in Europe.

In Use: “Facing a major flooflemma between being bored in the house or being outside where it was cold, Papi chose to keep going in and out, causing some friction with his hooman room mates.”

In Use: “Forced into the flooflemma of not eating or eating food she didn’t like, Sunshine lived up to the Floof Code and walked away from the food.”

Floofmulent

Floofmulent (floofinition) 1. An acceptable or satisfactory animal. Origins: 1996 American television.

In Use: “Jackson’s family took him to pick a kitten at the animal shelter. But an elderly cat marched straight to him, and Jackson announced the cat was floofmulent and named him Captain Jack.”

2. Something that animals are willing to accept, or that satisfies them.

In Use: “Although Devon preferred a tennis ball, Max couldn’t find her normal ball. After a little trial and error, Max found a stick which Devon thought floofmulent, and a game of fetch commenced.”

Floofture

Floofture (floofinition) – a housepet’s complaints, lecture, or explanation to people about what’s going on, dissatisfies them, or intrigues them.

In use: “As she hurried to dress to go to her friend’s party, Cammie followed her with a mewing floofture about the lack of attention she was receiving, or the break in routine, or, perhaps, the hurried pace. It was hard to say what it was, but with the volume extensive floofturing, it was probably all that and more.”
