Neitherfloof

Neitherfloof (floofinition) – An animal who can’t be found where expected, or doesn’t eat or act as expected or desired. Origins: unknown, in use since the first animals began living with humans.

In Use: “Many people with housefloofs have experienced the frustration of neitherfloof when they buy their pets treats, new food, or a new toy, only for their fur buddy to disdainfully walk away from the offering.”

In Use: “The little neitherfloof was a master at hiding in the house, and his human friends could often be overheard as they searched the house, ‘He’s not in here, either.'”

Recent Use: “Neitherfloofs often worry their human slaves when they disappear outdoors and don’t return for days, found neither here nor there.”

Floogi

Floogi (floofinition) – An especially mystical or reflective animal. Origins: Floofskrit. First known use, 1613.

In Use: “Sienna had owned many cats and dogs, and often thought most of the cats had mystical qualities, but Samuel Jackson was the first dog she had who seemed like a floogi.”

In Use: “Jade often set up in a serene and watchful pose, her emerald eyes partially closed, a floogi contemplating existence.”

Recent Use: “Felines’ propensity to often seem like floogis has given rise on the net to posts with cats looking serene while saying something counter to the moment, such as, ‘I may look sweet but forget to feed me on time and my mittens of death will tear you a new one.'”

Floofplicate

Floofplicate (floofinition) – Something made more complex or problematic because of an animal’s presence or involvement.

In use: “For many, having a pet such as a cat or dog automatically floofplicates budgets and vacationing planning, of course, but pets can also floofplicate such routines as cleaning the house or doing yardwork as the animals arrive and try to ‘help’.”

Floofpremacist

Floofpremacist (floofinition) – Person or animal who believes animals are inherently superior to other beings and should have control over them as well as greater privileges.

In use: “Being a floofpremacist, the dog refused to accept that mere people could sit on the furniture while he, an animal, was forced to stay on the floor. Thus, whenever given the chance, he asserted his rights and got right up there on the furniture.”

Eddie Floofey

Eddie Floofey (floofinition) – American floof and roll singer, songwriter, and musical performer who found success in the 1970s and 1980s, crafty catchy, flea collar songs that became popular in floof culture.

In use: “Eddie Floofey’s success included eleven Top 40 songs, including, “Two Itches to Paradise”, “Floofy Hold On”, and “Let Me Out Tonight”, which became his biggest hit in Floofmerica.”

Nocfloofnal

Nocfloofnal (floofinition) – Animals, especially housepets, who roam, play, eat, and fight at night.

In use: “Among housepets, cats are recognized as being nocfloofnal, with videos of them raising hell while their people trying to proliferating across the net.”

Floofxotic (floofinition) – Foolishly impractical or rash actions by an animal, especially a housepet.

In use: “Many pet owners have floofxotic tales to share about their fur friends, such as cats attempting optimistic jumps or small puppies and kittens taking on much bigger foes.”

Golden Floofring (floofinition) – Dutch hard floof rock (flock) band formed in 1961 in The Hague. Releasing twenty-five albums, they’ve achieved multiple hits spread over multiple decades.

In use: “After almost five decades of performing, Golden Floofring remains most known for “Radar Cat” and “Twilight Floof”, top ten hits in multiple countries in 1973 and 1982 respectively.”

Stray Floofs (floofinition) – An American floofabilly rock band formed in 1979 in Floof York.

In use: “With multiple hits such as “Stray Floof Strut” and “Floof this Town”, the Stray Floofs proved they weren’t one-hit wonders, but had staying power.”
