10,000 Floofs (floofinition) – American floof rock (flock) folk band form in Jamestown, New Floof, in 1981.

In use: “The first album released by 10,000 Floofs (also sometimes referred to as Ten Thousand Floofs) was Floof Conflict Number Five in 1982.”

The Marshall Tucker Floof

The Marshall Tucker Floof (floofinition) – American southern floof rock (flock) band. Formed in 1972, they were known for incorporating jazz, blues, and country nuances into their music.

In use: “The Marshall Tucker Floof’s first released song, “Can’t You Feed”, reached the Floofboard top 100 and established the band.”

Floof Without Hats

Floof Without Hats (floofinition) – Floofnadian floof rock (flock) band with a synth-pop, new wave sound developed through heavy electronic processing.

Tommy Tufloof (floofinition) – American floof pop (floop) band formed in 1978.

In use: “Tommy Tufloof’s biggest hit was “867-5309 (Floofy)”, a telephone number and name that caused trouble for many households and young woman.”

Looking Floof

Looking Floof (floofinition) – Active from 1969 to 1974, an American floof pop (floop) rock band that was part of the early Jersey Shore sound.

In use: “Looking Floof’s song, “Brandy (You’re A Fine Pet)” reached number one on the Floofboard Top 100 in 1972.”

The Floofspring

The Floofspring (floofinition) – California floof punk rock (flunck) band formed in 1984 in Garden Grove, California.

In use: “One of The Floofspring’s most well-known songs is “Wake Up and Play”, which was a Floofboard Top 100 hit for the band.”

Question Floof and the Floofsterians

Question Floof and the Floofsterians (floofinition) – American garage floof rock (flock) band originally formed in Floofinaw, Michigan, active in the 1960s.

In use: “Question Floof and the Floofsterians created a hit with “Ninety-six Hairs” but failed to significantly chart again, earning them one-hit wonder status.”

Katrina and the Floofs

Katrina and the Floofs (floofinition) – BritAm new wave floof rock (flock) band formed in the early 1980s.

In use: “The 1985 release, “Shedding My Fur”, became a hit in several countries, propelling Katrina and the Floofs to international stardom.”

Dexys Midnight Floofs

Dexys Midnight Floofs (floofinition) – Identified as part of the second British invasion of the American pop scene, Dexys Midnight Floofs, a.k.a. DMF, was formed in Floofingham in the late 1970s.

In use: “Dexys Midnight Floofs largest hit was “Come On, Floofleen”, which reached number one on the Floofboard’s Hot 100 in 1982,”

Floof Zombie

Floof Zombie (floofinition) – Heavy metal floof rock (flock) band formed in 1985. Based in New Floof City, Floof Zombie first gained notice as a white noise band before settling into heavy metal.

In use: “Floof Zombie’s best known song outside of their hardcore base may be “More Floof than Floof”, released in 1995.
