Cathentic (catfinition) – a feline who epitomizes the traits, appearance, qualities and behavior of a cat, from the cool aloofness to the soft fur, sweet curiosity, and love of sunshine.
In use: “Cathentic in the cationary has a picture of Meep beside it, for the ginger boy has all the characteristics listed in the description.”
Flooflong (catfinition) – to enter with wary grace and attentiveness, and keyed to react.
In use: “Not knowing anyone in the room, she entered flooflong, with tentative steps, and looked for him or her, because she had no desire to speak to either, or have them see her.”
Floofsical (catfinition) – a musically inclined cat
In use: “Whenever Beverly started playing her guitar, her floofsical jumped on her shoulder, singing and trying to strum along with her human.”
Wonderfloof (catfintion) – a cat who is amazingly friendly and loving, and is willing to share their space and their food.
In use: “She was a wonderfloof, reacting to the wary newfloof in her house by walking over with her tail up and disarming him with a soft mew.”
Bifloofal (catfinition) – a household with two cats; a cat with two personalities (also known as multiple purrsonality disorder (MPD)).
In use: “After observing Bumble, they decide she was bored and needed a companion, so they went to the shelter, adopted an older kitty, and became bifloofal.”
Clawtermined (catfinition) – when a cat decides to employ their claws to take a prize.

I never knew cats were fans of bagels.

Floofspices (catfinition) – a cat’s kindly patronage and guidance
In use: “All the home’s activities are done under the floofspices of four cats, except vacuuming in any form.”
Kitty-go-round (catfinition) – a pick-up game cats play that involves running in and out of doors in patterns developed as the game proceeds. Scoring involves quantum mechanics that only cats understand. One begun, the game is played until any humans present lose become impatient or lose their temper over the game.
In us: “The clowder began playing kitty-go-round just as Michael began watching Lost In Space. Rushing in the pet door in the bedroom, they dashed through the living room, and hurried to another door. When one was let out, another came in. The game ended after just four minutes, when Michael said, “Enough.” All the cats then sat down and gave Michael sullen looks that accused him of spoiling their fun.”
Floofish (catfinition) – a cat who pretends to be another creature or fakes doing other activities to take advantage of others or a situation.
In use: “She was a little floofish, pretending to sleep when the plate of chicken was put out, but once she was alone in the room, she leaped up, grabbed a piece, and scurried away to enjoy it in private.”
Incatpatible (catfinition) – a person who doesn’t like or get along with felines.
In use: “The book club had one member who was incatpatible, so naturally she was like catnip for the house’s kittens.”
